The sneaker whose release hurtled sneaker culture down a deleterious path from which it’s yet to recover is making its return in 2025.
Thirteen years after its infamous release during NBA All-Star Weekend, the “Galaxy” Air Foamposite One is being prepared to cause sneaker pandemonium once more.
An initial image of the 2025 iteration has come to light via zsneakerheadz and they appear, at least from this angle, to be a fairly faithful recreation of its 2012 progenitor. They feature the galaxy graphic spread across its Foamposite upper paired with black at the tongue, eyerow and collar. A One Cent logo can be seen on the tongue, while another can be see on the rear heel , with a small Swoosh on the lateral eyerow at the forefoot.
Underneath resides , what should be a glow in the dark outsole.
The “Galaxy” Nike Air Foamposite One is slated to make its return in the spring of 2025; they will carry a 240 USD sticker price.
